Ylistaro 360

Videoiden ja kuvien lisäksi dronella saa hienoja 360-kuvia. Pari viikkoa sitten kummivanhempien luona vieraillessa käytiin tyttären kanssa ottamassa talteen näkymät myös Ylistaron keskustasta joen yläpuolelta (tässä kartan keskellä).

In addition to videos and photos, drones can also be used to shoot cool 360 photos. A couple of weeks ago I visited my godparents with my daughter and we stopped in 'downtown' Ylistaro to shoot the view above the river (in the middle of map here).

Tulos on vähän käsintehdyn näköinen (yhden pikselin puute leveydessä ja taivas täydennetty pikaisesti), mutta jatkossa voin ottaa kuvan valmiina dronesta, kun viimein löysin 360-panoraama-kohdan. Tämän otin itse monena kuvana, jotka yhdistin Hugin-ohjelmalla ja täydensin Photoshop Elementsillä oikeaan kokoon. Sitten julkaisu VeeR.tv -sivustolle.

The end result is not perfect (one-pixel shortage on the width and the sky is poorly copied), but from now on I can get the picture finalized directly by the drone as I found that 360 feature in the menus. This picture was taken as separate shots, which I stiched with Hugin and finalized with Photoshop Elements. Then it was published to VeeR.tv site.

During our sabbatical year, I shot 360 shots around the world and now I found a way to transfer those here. VeeR offers a feature to show these as a 'double image' which is used in VR glasses.
