Aattoon asti vietettiin joulua Vaasassa ja Joulupäivänä ajettiin hiljaisia teitä pitkin Ylläkselle. Pakkasta yleensä lähemmäs -20C mutta vähän piti käydä hiihtämässä, että sai sitten loikoilla mökissä muut 20h. Nyt oli ekaa kertaa mukana drone ja tuollahan saikin uusia näkökulmia tunturiin:
We spent the Season's days in Vaasa with family and then on Christmas day we drove to Lapland. On most of the days, there was -20C but we did some xc-skiing almost every day. I also had my drone there for the first time and it really gave some new views of the mountains:

Yhtenä iltana yhdistyi onneksi pilvetön taivas ja revontulet. Tilanne vaihteli nopeasti - välillä oli monta minuuttia hiljaista, sitten taas ilmaantuivat nopeasti liikkuen. Tässä Tarja ihailemassa taivasta:
Once during our stay, we got both clear sky and Aurora Borealis at the same time. They changed quickly - first, they were gone and a few minutes later they were back moving fast. Here's Tarja admiring the view:
Keväällä myöhästyttiin Game of Thrones -jäälinnasta Lainiolla viikolla, joten kun oli nyt jo lähes valmis, niin vierailtiin siellä. Onneksi kuului joltakulta, että tämä uusi versio on hienompi kuin aiempi.
Last Spring we missed snow castle with Game of Thrones theme, so now that it was recreated and almost ready we visited it. And somebody there told that this new version was better than the previous one.

Perinteinen pizza syötiin Otsonpesässä, mutta hienoin näkymä oli viereisen Pihvikeisarin edessä.
Our traditional pizza was in Otsonpesä restaurant, but the next door steak restaurant had the best front decoration.
