Viikon kuva - Peliviikonloppu

Viikon kuva: Viikonloppuna pelattiin Katin ja Pekan kanssa. Aloitettiin perjantaina iltapalaistumisen jälkeen tiimipelillä naiset vastaan miehet The Castles of Burgundyä. Peli vierähti klo 02 saakka, mutta päättyi miesten voittoon! 😎

The photo of the week: We had a game weekend with Kati and Pekka. The first game after dinner and sunset watching was The Castles of Burgundy. This time it was a team game, women vs. men. The game ended at 2 a.m. but the men won! 😎

Mutta taas viikon alkuun. Maanantaina paluu töihin kuuden kuukauden jälkeen alkoi tutulla kävelyllä meren keskellä Vaskiluotoon. Töihin sujahtaminen meni oudon helposti.

But back to the beginning of the week. On Monday I returned to work after six months of sabbatical. Nice walk to the island, and getting back to routine was surprisingly easy.

Keskiviikkona Sulvalla lähdettiin pyörillä katsomaan Munsmon satamaa, jossa oli niitetty kaislaa kymmeniä, ellei satoja kuutiometrejä. 

On Wednesday we took a bike trip to see the Munsmo harbor. They had taken down a LOT of reed from the waters. 

Nyt näytti avaralta.

Now it looks spacious. 

Siinä oli mukava syödä iltapalaa.

It was a nice place to eat supper.

Perjantaina alkoi tosiaan pelitapaaminen, hienosti valuvat kynttilät terassilla.

So... Friday started with dinner outside. Nice draining candles. 

Lauantaina aamupalana aluksi Pekan keittämää mustakaurapuuroa. 👍🏻

We started Saturday with black oat porridge that Pekka had done for us. 👍🏻

Lauantaina otettiin pienempiä pelejä, ekana tämä Balloon pop. Sitten Deep Sea Adventure kahdesti ja mökkipelailun lopuksi Arboretum. Mutta ehdittiin kyllä syödäkin.

On Saturday we played some smaller games: first Balloon pop (below). Then Deep Sea Adventure twice and the last cottage game Arboretum. But we did have time to eat too.

Lauantain pelien jälkeen käytiin pikaisesti Sulvalla Katarinan lapsenlapsen 14v-synttäreillä. 

Next we quickly visited the 14th birthday party of Katarina's first grandchild. 

Illaksi mentiin Ritziin, jossa oli Silvennoinen Hela Band -konsertti. 

On Saturday evening we went to the Ritz to see a concert by two famous Finnish guys. 

Olisi pitänyt ottaa kunnon kamera mukaan.

I should have had a proper camera.

Pekka ja Kati olivat samassa konsertissa, joten käytiin vielä mun luona ottamassa erä 0-9 -peliä. 

Pekka and Kati were in the same concert so after that we took one round of NMBR 9 at my home.

Katarinan kanssa pelattiin vielä sunnuntaina aamusta viikon uutena pelinä Principato. 

On Sunday morning we took a round of a new (for us) game Principato. 

Pelin jälkeen taivas oli jo kirkastunut, joten käveltiin uimahallille kuntoilemaan. Matkalla ihmeteltiin opiskelijoiden tyhjään loppuvaa jonoa. Ehkä tärkeää on se jonotus, eikä se mitä saa.

After the game the sky was clear so we walked to the swimming hall to exercise. On our way we saw a queue of students, apparently the trip is more important than the destination as there was nothing to queue for. 

Iltapäiväksi mentiin lapsenlapseni Annin 1v-synttäreille. Tässä vielä isoveli Artturi esittelee palikkataloa.

In the afternoon we participated in my granddaughter Anni's one year birthday. Here big brother Artturi is showing us his toys.

Anni sai hienon sienijakkaran.

Anni got a nice mushroom stool.

Katarinan piti lähteä töihin, iltakävelyllä näkyi vielä Wärtsilän nurkilla nätti auringonlasku.

Katarina had to leave for work, I got to see a nice sunset on my evening walk.
