Perjantaiset uimahallikäynnit on jatkuneet, viikon 39 kuvassa mukana oli myös Katarina ja Milla. Käytiin pizzabuffassa uimisen jälkeen.

We took a couple of rounds of Maracaibo. It's been waiting 1,5 years to be played, and good that we finally did it. A great game!

Sunnuntaina tuli Katarinan veli Stefan käymään poikansa kanssa.

On Sunday Katarina's brother Stefan and his son visited us.

Viikolla oli Wärtsilässä koulutuspuolen uusien tilojen avoimet ovet. Legomoottori on luultavasti haluttu harvinaisuus.

During the week Wärtsilä's training department had open doors for their new area. A lego engine is probably a rarity for collectors.

Kävin kokeilemassa heidän VR-koulutuslaitteistoakin.

I tested their VR training equipment.

Torstaina otin flunssapiikin. En ollutkaan kuullut, että yli 60-vuotiaille on tarjolla tehokkaampi versio. Jesh! 👍🏻

On Thursday I got this year's flu shot. I didn't know that there's a more efficient version available for those over 60. Yes! 👍🏻

They had the first Holiday season decorations that I've seen.

Keskisen vierailulla meille uusi juttu oli yöpyminen Onnentähti-hotellissa. Nyt loka-marraskuussa on kaikilla retkueen naisilla synttärit, joten juhlittiin sitä kerralla.

The new thing at Keskinen for us was to stay overnight at their hotel. Now in October-November all the ladies in our group will have a birthday so we did a 'one stone' trip.

Toisen viikon uutena pelinä oli Unmatched: Sun's Origin. Tuo on kesän ostos Jyväskylästä ja periaatteessa idea on mainio: kaikkia sarjan hahmoja voi laittaa sotimaan vastakkain. Ei vain saanut hyvää vastaanottoa, joten meni myyntiin. 

The new game of the second week was Unmatched: Sun's Origin. I bought it during our Finland roadtrip. The idea is cool - all characters in the series can match each other. Too bad that it didn't get good reception so it's now for trade.

Paluu Balkanille 2/2

Vielä loppusatsi kuvia vuoden takaiselta yksin tehdyltä autoreissulta Balkanille. Tässä olin päässyt Montenegrossa ylängön maisematien läpi ja alhaalla joen varressa menevä tie oli jo lähellä.

And the last photos from my solo roadtrip to the Balkans last year. Here I had driven through the highland scenery road in Montenegro and was quite close to the main road by the river.

Lähellä rajaa tie meni padon yli. Joku outo äijä tuli hätistelemään pysähtyviä autoja eteenpäin.

A big dam near the country border. Some strange guy came to shoo stopping cars to drive on.

Rajan ylityksen jälkeen Bosnia ja Herzegovinan puolella oli koko reissuin surkein tien pätkä. Parin kymmen kilsan jälkeen oli jo onneksi mun majapaikka joen varrella tuolla yläkerrassa.

After crossing the border to Bosnia and Herzegovina I had the lousiest road of the whole trip. But after some 20 km I got to my accommodation. It was the upper room in this cottage.

Kävelylle joen rantaan. Vanha kuuluisa kaupungintalo oli rakennettu uudestaan after Serbi's destroyed it. Täällä oli ammuttu ne ensimmäisen maailmansodan 1914 aloittaneet laukaukset.

Walking to the river side. The old famous city hall had been rebuilt after Serbi's destroyed it. This was the place where the First World War started in 1914.

Menin gondolilla huipulle ja sieltä pisti silmään mm. tämä hylätty armeijan kasarmi. Kävin myöhemmin kävelemässä sen ympäri, mutta liian korkeat aidat estivät paljon kuvaamista.

I took a gondola ride to the top of the hill and shot this abandoned army barracks from there. The next day I walked around it but the walls were too high so I couldn't get good pics.

Kävelin mäkeä alas ja tämä pariskunta oli ihastelemassa pilviä.

I noticed this a cloud watching couple on my walk down from the hill.

I walked by one more cemetery before the heavy rain began.

Seuraavana päivänä kävin kurkkaamassa yhden moskeijan.

On the next day I visited one more mosque.

Keskellä kaupunkia oli jätetty roomalaisittain vanhat rauniot näytille. Nämä neljä kävelijää olivat ainoat suomalaiset, jotka bongasin matkalla alun sukellusretken jälkeen.

They had left old ruins protected for viewing downtown. These four were the only Finns I spotted during the trip (after the diving trip on the first day)

Katutasossa oli aika järkky näyttely Bosnian sodan tarinoista. Tässä tuomittuja sotarikollisia. 

The ground floor had a terrible exhibition of the war they had in the 90's. Here are some war criminals.

Mostarin vanha siltakin oli tuhottu sodassa, mutta rakennettu nyt uudestaan. Siellä reunalla heilui hyppääjiä, jotka keräsivät katsojilta rahaa ja kun satanen oli täynnä, niin hyppäsivät alas jokeen 24 metriä.

The old bridge of Mostar was also destroyed during the 90's war and it was rebuilt exactly as it was originally. On the sides were these young guys collecting money and when they had 100€ they jumped down 24 meters (79 ft) to the river.

Kravican vesiputoukset olivat iso turistirysä, jonne tuli bussilasteja porukkaa uimaan. Harmittavasti olin unohtanut uikkarit autoon.

The waterfall of Kravica is a big tourist attraction, buses to people there to swim. Too bad that I forgot my swimming trousers in my car.

Matka jatkui ja Kroatian puolella tie nousi ylemmäs hienoille näköalapaikoille.

The drive continued and on the Croatian side the road went up and revealed nice scenery.

Viimeisen yön olin Tivatin sataman vierellä ja huoneesta oli hieno näköala.

I spent the last night in Tivat harbour and had a nice view from my hotel room.

Tuolloin 31. päivä toukokuuta oli jokin lukiolaisten koulupäättäjäisjuhla. Aluksi pareja juhlapuvuissa pyöri ympäriinsä ja juuri kulkueen hetkelle osui kunnon sadekuuro.

I was there on May 31st and it was some course ending day for local High school or something. At first the couples walked around and took selfies. And just when this parade began there was also heavy rain.
