Kevät etenöö - päivät vilajaa

Viikon 16 kuva on Vaasan Suomi-Amerikka yhdistyksen 80v synttäreiltä, joka oli 17.4. 

The  photo of week 16 is from the Finland-USA association of Vaasa as it turned 80 years on April 17th.

Viikolla 17 alkoi Vaskiluotoon menevän pyörätiesillan uusinta ja sain 600 metriä lisää päivittäistä työmatkakävelyä.

The photo of week 17 is from my work trip where they started renewing the bike path bridge. I now have 600 meters longer walk to work.

Kevään ekat bongatut leskenlehdet pitää aina kuvata. Nyt sain mukaan vielä nokkosperhosenkin.

The first sighting of coltsfoot is here the sign of Spring. And this year there was a butterfly with it.

Viikolla vietin Artturin ja Annin kanssa viisi tuntia tekemällä viiden leikkikentän kierroksen.

During the week I spent five hours with Artturi and Anni by doing a five playground walk.

Ekan viikon uusi peli oli Moon. Toimiva suoraviivainen sydämien keräilypeli, eli yritetään saada oma kuutukikohta suosituimmaksi.

The new game of the week was Moon. It's a good straight forward game for collecting popularity (i.e. hearts) for your moon base.

Viikonloppuna tehtiin mökillä kevään aloituksen hommia. Perinteinen laiturin uitto paikalleen.

During the weekend we did Spring starting tasks at the cottage. Here's the traditional pier rowing. 

Koeajettiin se samana päivänä saunasta käsin. Vesi oli +9C mutta pulahdettiin kahdesti.

And we tested the pier twice on that same day. The water was +9C (48F) but the sauna helped. 

Ja oli jo sen verran lämmintä, että kevään ensimmäinen ulkolounaskin toteutui.

And it was warm enough for the first lunch outside.

Perjantaina oli taas standup-ilta O'malleyssissä. Pääesiintyjänä telkkarista tuttu Anders Helenius.

On Friday we went again to O'Malleys for a stand up night with six performers.

Toisen viikonlopun pelinä olikin vain yksi: Tervetuloa kuuhun. Tuossa on kahdeksan ihan erilaista kenttää raketin rakentamisesta lennon kautta kuutukikohdan pystyttämiseen. Oli kyllä toimiva tapaus. Pelattiin neljää ekaa kenttää viisi erää.

On the second weekend we played just one game but five rounds of it. Welcome to the Moon was new to us and a good game. There are eight different forms that tell the story of building a rocket and the moon base and between those flying it. We played the first four forms.

Katarina tähtäili mökistä linnunpönttöä ja sinne pesää tekevää pariskuntaa.

Katarina waited a long time with the camera and got a few good shots of this couple starting the nest.

Sunnuntaina käytiin Korsnäsissä Katarinan veljen vaimon synttäreillä.

On Sunday we visited at the birthday of Katarina's sister-in-law. 

Ehdin vielä illalla kävelylle Vaasaan.

And I had time to do a walk in Vaasa downtown.
