Rion loput

Vielä kaksi päivää Rioa ja sitten muihin kuviin. Tiistaina vietiin aamusta pussillinen vaatteita pesulaan ja lähdettiin katsomaan Kuvan ja äänen museota, joka olikin remontissa. Eikun uusi suunnitelma peliin. Mentiin metrolla vähän pohjoiseen ja Domino's-lounaan jälkeen löydettiin hauska nykytaidepuisto:

Two more days of Rio before moving to next photos. On Tuesday we took a bag of dirty clothes to the laundry and headed to the Museum of Image and Sound. Too bad that it was closed due to being renovated. A quick planning and we headed to north by metro and had a lunch in Domino's. After that we found a fun contemporary art park:

Toinen lampi oli täynnä punaista narua, joka lähti keskellä olevasta tuolista + ompelukoneesta:

The second bond was full of red string coming from a chair and a sewing machine in the middle:

Jonkin matkaa kävelyä ja löydettiin ihasteltavaksi Escadaria Selarón. Värikkäiden mosaiikkien peittämillä portailla riitti detaljeja kuvattavaksi.

Some more walking and we came to Escararia Selarón. A colourful staircase with thousands of small details for a photographer.

Vielä ennen hotellille suuntaamista kurkattiin kaupunginteatterin aula ja puistikko siinä ympärillä. Illalla pyykkipussin nouto ja lepuuttelua hotellilla.

Before heading to the hotel we visited the lobby of Theatro Municipal and checked out the esplanade around it. Then I picked up the laundry and the rest of the evening we relaxed in the hotel room.

Keskiviikkona aluksi tunti aurinkoa katon uima-altaalla, minkä jälkeen Ipaneman eteläpuolella olevalle Leblon rannalle. Sen perällä on pikku vuori, johon käveltiin ylös tietä pitkin. Sieltä maisemaa kaupunkiin päin:

Our Wednesday started with an hour at the roof pool after which we headed to Leblon beach, south of Ipanema. At the end of that beach is a small mountain with a road to walk up for some views. The scenery towards the city:

Ja hauska hetki Corcovadoa muistuttamaan, että meillä oli ihan hyvä sää käydä siellä juurella.

And a fun reminder that we chose wisely a clear day to visit Corcovado.

Etelä-Amerikan zikavirusalueelle menon takia hankittiin Floridasta moskiittomyrkky Permetriiniä vaatteisiin ruiskutettavaksi. Kestää 6 pesua tai 6 viikkoa ja viimeisenä iltana tuo oli viimein pakko hoitaa.

Due to heading next to the Zika virus mosquito area we bought a bottle of Permethrin in Florida and I sprayed it on our most used clothes. The poison lasts in clothes for 6 washes or 6 weeks.
