Saturday Classic - Peacemaker & Wig Wam

Nyt parin päivän ajan on päässä soinut toistolla mahtavan Peacemaker -tv-sarjan intromusiikki. Yleensä tv-sarjojen alkupätkät tulee hypättyä yli, mutta Game of Thronesin ja tämän katsoo joka kerta. Jo tuo video henkii sitä sarjan mainiota kieroa mustaa huumoria.

Now for two days I have had this intro song of the great Peacemaker tv-series on my head all the time. Usually I skip intros after the first time but this (as also Game of Thrones beginning) I want to watch every time. That whole dance shows the clever dark humor that the series has.

Tv-sarja perustuu James Gunnin viime vuotisen ylihyvän elokuvan The Suicide Squad yhteen hahmoon, Peacemakeriin.

Ja Suomi-bongauksena heti ensimmäisessä jaksossa Peacemakerin selaillessa itselleen mieluisia äänilevyjä, siinä kolmen katsotun joukossa vilahti Hanoi Rocksin levykin!

The tv-show is based on really good The Suicide Squad movie. It's directed by James Gunn and premiered last year. Peacemaker is one character in that movie.

Already in the first episode I noticed a Hanoi Rocks (a Finnish band!) album cover when Peacemaker was browsing music he liked.

Viikon kuvaan löytyi materiaalia hyvin viikonlopun kävelyltä. Lauantaina Vaskiluotoon hiihtämään hiihtäessä oli tylsän pilvistä (ladulla toki hieno 360-näkymä), mutta sunnuntaina oli hieno aurinkoinen keli:

The photo of the week is from my weekend walk. On Saturday I was skiing this route to do some skiing but the sky was cloudy and didn't give very good view (except this 360 view during the skiing). But Sunday brought a nice sunshine!:

Palmusaaren rakentaminen nopeuttaa ruuan valmistumista

Yleensä reissussa ravintolaruuan tuleminen kestää kauan, mutta Maltalla keksin mainion keino nopeuttaa tilausta. Repussa oli mukana Palm Island -pakka ja kun tilaus lähti, niin aloitin pelin. Kolmella neljästä kertaa ruoka jo tuli ennen kuin olin saanut saaren rakentamisen läpi. Ylikätevää!

Usually it takes a long time for food to come in a restaurant but in Malta I invented a fun way to speed up the kitchen. I had a Palm Island cards in my backpack and after I had ordered I started the game. Three times out of four when I did this, my order was ready before I even had finished the game. Nice!

Palm Island on siis 16 neli-puoleisella kortilla pelattava peli, jossa tavoitteena on saada mahdollisimman paljon pisteitä kahdeksan kierroksen aikana. Tuo numero-kortti laitetaan viimeiseksi ja aina kun se tulee vastaan, niin se käännetään seuraavalle numerolle kasan alle. 'Frei' = ilmaiset resurssit käännetään kyljelleen ja niitä voi olla max neljä. Niillä voi ostaa muita kortteja, jotka pyöräytetään ylösalaisin tai käännetään toisin päin. Esim. tuon Temppelin ylösalaisin pyöräytys maksaa puun, kalan ja kaksi kiveä ja siitä saa sitten kolme pistettä. Kun '8' tulee vastaan, niin lasketaan vasemmalla ylhäällä olevien ⭐️-merkkien numerot yhteen.

Palm Island is a simple game with 16 cards that have four sides. The goal is to get as many points as possible during the eight rounds. That number card goes to the bottom of the pack and always when it comes again, you turn it to the next number. 'Frei' (= free in Germany) resources are turned sideways and there can be max four. Those are used to buy other cards which are either flipped or turned upside down. For example turning that Temple upside down costs a tree, a fish and two stones and then it gives three points. When '8' comes while browsing cards you just sum numbers next to ⭐️-icons that are on top of your cards.

Ennen joulua löysin vihdoin Verkkokaupan alesta (12€) euron postareilla Rushhour-pulmapelin. (Kiitos vinkistä Pirjo ja Merja! 🙏🏼 ) Kotiin palattuani se oli tuolla keittiön nurkassa kunnes ratkaisin kaikki 40 tehtävää. Tavoitteena on saada punainen auto ulos laudalta edessään olevan aukon kautta. Kutakin autoa saa siirtää vain eteen ja taakse päin. Tuo oli selkeä ja koukuttava. Viimeinen kenttä olikin vaikea ja monta kertaa palautin sen alkuasentoon ja yritin uudestaan

Just before Holidays I finally found a recommended (Thanks Pirjo & Merja 🙏🏼) Rushhour puzzle game and ordered it. After returning home I had it on my kitchen table until I had solved all 40 tasks. The goal is to get that red car out of the opening on the side. All vehicles can only be moved front and back. A simple but hooking game. The last task was quite difficult and I returned the board to start position several times and tried again.

Viikko sitten siirryin Maltalla viimeiseksi kolmeksi päiväksi Gozolta pääsaaren eteläpäähän Il-Brolliin. Tätä nätti rantareittiä tuli kuljettua useampaankin kertaan. 

One week ago I moved from Gozo to the Southernmost end of the main island for the last three days. I walked this shore route several times as it was so nice.

Hetken mietin, että miksi joillakin on noin pieniä veneitä... 🤔 😄 mutta eihän niillä mennä kuin muutama kymmentä metriä tuonne isommalle veneelle.

For a moment I wondered why some have so little boats... 🤔 😄 but then I realized that those are needed only for a short trip to their bigger boat.

Vuoden vaihteessa instagram-palvelussa kerätään usein edellisen vuoden 'top-9' kuvista. Kollaasi tykätyimmistä / tärkeimmistä kuvista on tässä. Tuo hääkuva (vuodelta 2003) oli vähän hämäävä, kun käytin sitä postaukseen Tarjan pois menosta. 

Around the New Year 'everybody' creates a top 9 collage of the previous year's best pics. My most liked / most important photos are here. The wedding picture was a bit distracting as I used it in my post about Tarja passing away. 

Kevät oli kuvissakin vähän harmaata aikaa, kesän tullen tuli paljon pyöräkuvia ja syksyllä tykkäyksiä sai tyttären Marianne hääkuva. Nyt tuoreena on sitten drone-kuva Maltan reissulta.

Tänään olisi ollut mun ja Tarjan 'ensikontaktin' 22. vuosipäivä (sekin oli sunnuntai). Laitoin treffipalstalle ilmoituksen, samana päivänä tuli vastaus ainoalta yhteydenottajalta. Muutama päivä kirjoiteltiin sähköposteja ja loppuviikosta mentiin ekoille treffeille katsomaan uutuusleffa Kuudes Aisti. Huvittava detalji oli, että leffan jälkeen ei kumpikaan tajuttu loppukäännettä. Tarjalla oli ainakin hyvänä selityksenä huono näkö, mulla taisi vain jännittäminen viedä keskittymiskyvyn.

The Spring was a bit grey also in photos, during the Summer I had a lot of bicycle photos and during the Fall a lot of likes went to the wedding picture of my daughter Marianne. The last one is a drone shot from my trip to Malta.

Today would have been my 22nd 'first contact' anniversary with Tarja (it was also a Sunday). I sent a message to a date site and got just one answer. For the first few days we emailed and at the end of the week went on a date to see a new movie called The Sixth Sense. A fun detail is that neither of us understood the end twist of the movie. Tarja had a good reason as she didn't see much, but my explanation was probably just that I was nervous and couldn't concentrate.

Viikon kuvaksi oli nyt runsauden pulaa näistä Maltan kuvista. Viikosta kertovia on jo tullut julkaistua ja vielä niitä riittää. Tämä Victorian kiertelyn alkulöydös kertoo ainakin, että joulun teemaa näkyy täällä paljon.

This week I have almost too many to choose from as the photo of the week. Many possible candidates are already published. This picture from the beginning of my Victoria visit tells that the Christmas theme is visible here a lot.

Tänään siirryin pääsaaren eteläisimpään päähän lopuksi kolmeksi yöksi. Ei näkynyt lunta, lämpöä 18C ja lämmintä, joten kävin 4km juoksulenkillä, ettei tullut niitä lenkkareita turhaan lennätettyä. Sen perään snorklailin tuossa hotellin edustalla - kirkasta vettä, tyhjää, viileää. Mutta eipä tullut räpylöitä tänne turhaan lennätettyä. Loppupäivä kävelyä ympäri keskustaa ja sain vihdoin 100 tuntematonta osallistujankin. Adrian:

Today I moved to the main island and it's Southernmost part for the last three nights. The weather was nice 18C (64F) so I did a 4K run so that I didn't fly those running shoes here in vain. After that I did some snorkeling in front of the hotel - clear, chilly and empty, but at least I didn't fly my fins here in vain. Then some walking for the rest of the day. And I got a 100 strangers participant, Adrian: 

Jouluaattona hain yhden geokätkön Maltatakin. Niitä nyt löydettynä 171 kpl, eli huimat 10 kpl / vuosi tässä 2004 vuodesta saakka. Eri kätköilymaita näyttäisi olevan nyt kai 21. Osuin kappelille auringonlaskun aikaa ja siltä ulottui juuri ja juuri näkemään mereen laskukohdalla.

On Christmas Eve I got one geocache from Malta too. My 21st geocaching country if I counted right. That was our/my 171st which makes an 'amazing' 10 / year since me starting in 2004. I got to the cache site by a Chapel just during the sunset and it was far enough to just see the sea point of the setting Sun.

Sähköpyöräfirma meni kiinni koronan takia, mutta jostain syystä autojen vuokraaminen on edelleen turvallista. Kieltämättä sillä oli helpompi kierrellä katsomassa paikkoja, kun mäet ovat aikamoisen jyrkkiä. Tässä pohjoisrannan suola-altaita.

The ebike rental company closed just when I planned to get one but for some reason cars can still be rented, so I got one of those. Got to admit that it was probably easier to check sights due to those high hills. Here's the salt pans area on the Northern coast.

Saturday classic - Älä unohda minua

Lepikselle lauantaiklassikoiden teemana on luonnollisesti joulu. Siihen sarjaan olisi ollut jonkinlaisena lauluna Whamin Last Christmas, jota on aina tullut rallatettua ja josta vuosi sitten Tarjan kanssa oli puheissa, että tuo sana voi olla 'viime' -merkityksen sijasta myös 'viimeinen'. Ja niinhän se tosiaan oli.

Tämän Malta reissun tarkoituksena oli vähän sellainen irtirepäisy meidän yhteiseen matkustusharrastukseen. Jos omikron olisi ollut tiedossa jo lentoa varatessa, niin olisi jäänyt tekemättä. Mutta nyt on jo viides päivä tulosta ja vieläkään ei mitään oireita, joten ehkä vältin viruksen tältä kertaa. Ja nyt on viikko 3-piikistä, joten ensi torstain paluussa on ainakin sekin suoja jo täysillä.

Jouluaattona menin pariksi tunniksi (liian vähän) Caminolle, joka on tuosta satamasta 15 minuutin venematkan päässä. Siellä näkyikin juuri Tarjan lempiväri merien sarjassa:

The current theme for Saturday classics of Lepis is naturally now Christmas. For that exact theme I would have had Wham's Last Christmas. I've always liked it but a year ago we talked that instead of 'previous' that word could also mean 'final'. And so it really was for Tarja.

This trip to Malta was planned to be a bit of a tear off from my usual rut to our common travel hobby. If omicron had been in the news when I booked the flights I probably wouldn't have dared to do this. But now it's already the fifth day since my airport/airplane time and no symptoms yet, so it seems that I dodged it for now. And today is a week since my 3rd vaccine, so when I return on Thursday my cover should be on the max.

On Christmas Eve I spent two hours (too short a time) in Camino. The boat trip there takes only 15 minutes. A nice place to walk around. There I also noticed Tarja's favorite sea color:

Suru Tarjan menettämisestä iski taas paluumatkalla, kun ajattelin miten tykkäisi tuostakin hetkestä. Veneeltä kävelin sataman hampurilaisbaariin syömään lounaan ja siellä tuli tämä kappale jollain ikuisella luupilla uudestaan ja uudestaan:

The grief of the loss of Tarja hit me again on the boat trip back when I thought how she would have enjoyed that moment. From the boat I walked to harbor hamburger restaurant for lunch and they had this song on some kind of ever-lasting loop playing over and over again:

Eipä siinä voinut muuta kuin veneeltä jatkaen vetistellä sitten vielä syömisenkin ajan. Valitsin nimittäin tuon The Breakfast Club -leffan omalla leffavuorollani 28.6.2020 suurin odotuksin, että nyt Tarjakin kokee tuon nuoruuteni klassikon. Mutta tämä olikin lopuksi, että 'mjääääh olipa tylsä leffa'.

So there I was eating a hamburger with tears in my eyes. The movie music played was from The Breakfast Club which I chose on my movie turn and we watched it on June 28th 2020. I had high hopes that 'now Tarja would finally see the classic of  my youth'. And after the feature she was like 'booooriiing'.

Joulutoivotus Gozolta

Kohta nukkumaan, mutta pari kuvaa joulun aloituksesta Maltan Gozolla. Eilen kävin kahdella sukelluksella tämän Andrean opastamana.

Sleeping time is coming closer but a few quick ones of my Holidays holiday in Gozo at Malta. Yesterday I did two dives with Andrea.

Tässä toisen sukelluksen lähtöpaikka, tuo liettualainen haettiin mukaan tälle syvemmälle käynnille. Eka sukellus oli totutteluna helppo 12m, toisella oltiin 23 metrissä syvimmillään. 

The starting point of the second dive. That other guy (Lithuanian) was picked along the ride to this one. My first dive was an easier refresh trip to 12 m (13 yards), our deepest point on this latter dive was 23 m (25 yards).

Eilen kävelin vielä satamaan tsekkaamaan laivojen lipunmyynnin valmiiksi ja polkupyörien vuokrauspaikan. 

After my lunch I walked to the harbour to check in advance where the boat tickets are sold and bike rentals are located.

Tänään olin päivän Gozon pääkaupungissa Victoriassa, mutta sieltä ei vielä kuvia ehtinyt tähän. 

Today I checked out Victoria, which is the capital of Gozo, but no pics chosen from those yet.

Viikon kuva - Piraattipuolue kiertueella

Viikon kuvana torstaina torilla kurkkaamassa käyty Piraattipuolueen puheenjohtaja (keskellä), joka teki näin vaalien alla Suomen kiertueen. Oikealla paikallinen ehdokas Janne Paalijärvi, paikalle tuli myöhemmin alueemme toinen ehdokas Ari-Pekka Pulkkis. Kannattaa harkita näitä uusia kykyjä! 👍🏻

The photo of the week is from Vaasa market square where I met the chairwoman of Pirate Party of Finland. A new election is coming in January and she's touring the whole country.

Lauantaina otettiin etukäteis-joulupizzalounas. Sen perään pelattiin erä Zoolorettoa ja tässä kesken olevaa Hanabia.

My next trip is soon so I also created a video of my August bicycle trip video clips. Photos of the trip are on the previous blog posts. The video file is quite big but hopefully the quality is worth the loading time.

Nyt on jo vuosi Tarjan viimeisestä joulusta, joten uusintajulkaisen videon, josta Tarja tykkäsi eniten. Tämä oli ensimmäisen editoitu videoni. Paikkana on Viktorian putoukset meidän vuorotteluvuoden ekalta matkalta ja ollaan katsottu tämä itse aikamoisen monta kertaa. Nyt se herkistää vielä enemmän. ❤️

It's now already a year since Tarja's last Christmas so I re-publish also a video that she liked the most. This was my first edited video and it shows Victoria Falls where we visited on the first trip of our sabbatical year. We have watched this quite a many times and now it gets me even more sentimental. ❤️

Viimeinen rutistus

Retken viimeisenä päivänä tuli enää 49 km pyöräilyä. Ajoin ensimmäisenä rautatieasemalle ja vein enimmät kamat säilytyslokeroon. Sitten pizzalle ja tästä sillan yli kohti Särkänniemeä.

On the last day of my trip I got only 49 km (30 mi) bicycling. Once I got to Tampere I went directly to railway station to put the excess stuff to a locker, then a pizza and over this bridge.

Sain taas muistutuksen, että kannattaisi katsoa Museokortti-sovelluksesta aukiolonkin. Sara Hildenin taidemuseo oli kiinni näyttelyn vaihdon takia. No, mutta oli mukava mennä tuo reitti pyörälläkin. Seuraavaksi Vapriikkiin, jossa pääkohteenani oli pelimuseo. Siellä oli eri vuosilta kerätty teemahuoneita sen ajan tavallisilla nuorten esineillä. Noita kasettikaruselleja oli varmaan kaikilla:

The visit to my first art museum reminded me again to check for opening times. That place was currently closed due to setting up the next exhibition, but at least I got a nice drive and saw new places. My next destination was Vapriikki, a museum center where the game museum was my main interest. This was one of the rooms themed with a certain year. Those c-cassette carousels were widely used back then:

Vapriikista ajoin Lautapelit.fi -myymälää katsomaan ja ostin pari peliä. Sieltä vielä eräänlaiselle pyhiinvaellukselle Taverna-lautapelikahvilaan, josta on tullut kuultua paljon Lautakunta-podcastistä. Näytti mukavalta paikalta:

From Vapriikki I drove to a board game shop and got a few bargains. The last destination was a kind of pilgrimage to Taverna board game café. I had heard a lot of it in the board game podcast that I have listened to. It's a nice place:

Tavernasta olikin aika mennä junalle taas yksien sadekuurojen välissä. Todiste näkyi asemalaiturilla junaa odotellessa.

Viikon kuva - Urheilullista

Viime viikolla sain uudistettua taas pari urheilulajia - lauantaina oli sopivan lämmintä (vain -4C), joten kävin Metsäkalliossa totuttelemassa hiihtämiseen. 10 km oli ihan riittävästi näin ekalla kerralla.

Last week I got two different sports refreshed. On Saturday the weather got warmer (-4C / 25F) so I did my first xc-skiing for this season. As it was the first time 10 km (6,2 mi) was enough for me.

Firman kerhotoiminnan korvaajaksi tuli ePassi ja sen rahat katoavat vuoden vaihteessa, joten otin tiistaina 18 kerran sarjalipun Botniahalliin. Oli ihan mukava juosta taas 5km, seuraavalla kerralla voisi käydä salillakin. 

Our company changed the sports/culture sponsoring to happen via an ePassi-app and that money expires at the end of this year. To use it I took a serial ticket to this hall and began my visits with a 5 km (5K 😊) jogging.

Murikanranta

Maanantaina lähdin Mäntästä kohti Tamperetta ja nyt taas ajoin ihan kokonaan itse. Matkaa Murikanrantaan tuli 74 km. Reitin varrella sain 100 tuntematonta osallistujat, näin hienon kukkakedon ja tuli vastaa parikin taidepläjäystä. Yhden maitolaiturin kohdalla oli pelottava huppuhahmo. Voi autoilijat pimeässä hätkähtää, jos tuollainen vilahtaa valoissa.

On Monday morning I left Mänttä and headed toward Tampere and now without a car. The day's trip was 74 km (46 mi). On that day I got new 100 strangers participants, saw a nice flower field and a couple of roadside art pieces. This one is probably scaring drivers during twilight. At least I would if I suddenly saw it while driving.

Vähän ennen puolta väliä näkyi huoltoasema ja kun kello oli sopivasti, niin ajattelin ottaa siinä jo tankkaus- ja lataustauon. 

A bit before half way I noticed a gas station and decided to have lunch and do some battery recharging.

Katsoin sadekarttaa ja huomasin, että ihan pian kohdalla on kunnon sadealue. Aikamoista kaatosadetta tulikin ja meni mukavasti ohi juuri kun söin ruuan ja jälkkärin. Oma sijaintini oli tuo valkoinen pinni.

There I noticed from a weather app that I had really good timing. A heavy rain area was close by so I ate peacefully and had a dessert during the wet 30 minutes and continued my trip. That white pin in the rain map app is my location. 

Toinen tienvarsitaiteen esiintymä oli Maaseudun voima -maitolaituri. Tuossa oli näitä kuvia ja vastapäätä tien toisella puolella oli isot 1,5m kokoiset muoviset lehmän utareet tangon päässä.

The second roadside art was this 'Power of Countryside' milk platform. Outside were these photos and on the opposite side of the road were 1,5 m (5 ft) big plastic cow udders on top of a pole.

Kopperon sisällä oli vieraskirja ja taustaselityksiä paikasta. Ikkunasta näkyi tuolla pellolla oleva luonnollisen kokoinen sininen lehmä.

Inside of that there was a visitors' book and more information about the place. The window showed a live size blue cow on the field.

Maisansalo olikin tuttu nimenä, muttei ollut mitään mielikuvaa, että missä se on. Vaan nytpä tiedän, että sehän on ihan Murikanrannan vieressä! Tämä vierasvenelaituri oli ravintolan kohdalla.

This nice visitor pier was a few kilometers before my hotel. The place is about a 30 minutes car drive to the North-East from Tampere and there's a camping area too. 

Murikanranta ('Kaikki keskellä ei mitään') on rakennettu jo 1977, mutta on ollut kyllä rakennuksena edellä aikaansa. Sisätilat oli avoimet ja valoisat. Kiertelin aluetta parin sadekuuron välissä ja nostin taas dronenkin ilmaan yleiskuvan saamiseksi.

The name of my last hotel is Murikanranta ('Shore of Murikka') and it was opened in 1977. The architects were clearly ahead of their time as the interiors are open and light. I walked around the area between rain showers and even put the drone up to get a general picture of the area.

Rantasaunalta lähti lyhyt puinen kävelytie lekottelutasanteelle. Osaan kuvitella, että tuossa on mukava jäähdytellä saunan jälkeen. 

The sauna cottage near the shore had a short wooden walking path to this pier. I can imagine how nice it will be cooling down here after the sauna.

Spa-osasto oli tyhjänä vielä kun kävin kurkkaamassa paikan. Mukavalta peruspaikalta näytti.

The Spa department was empty when I peeked at the place. It's not big but it looked nice.

Murikanranta on paljon metalliliiton käytössä, joten teemaan sopivasta sisäänajotien vieressä oli vanha Tampellalla ollut höyryvasara. Tämä valmistettiin 1929 ja oli käytössä 48 vuotta siihen samaan vuoteen -77 kuin paikkakin valmistui. Vasaran paino on kaksi tonnia ja olivat vieraille näyttäneet miten tuolla lyötiin tulitikkuaski kiinni niin, että se pysyi ehjänä.

The Murikanranta hotel is connected to the labour union so fitting to that theme there's an old steam hammer next to the entrance to the area. This one was built in 1929 and it was used for 48 years until 1977 when the hotel was opened. The hammer weighs 2 tons (4400 lb) and as a show to visitors they had used it to close a matchbox without breaking it.

Taide-kaupunkiin

Jyväskylästä jatkoin kohti Mänttä-Vilppulaa, johon olin varannut seuraavan yön. Aamusta satoi, mikä on tylsää pyöräillessä vaikka olinkin hankkinut kunnon sadevarusteet. Myös sydäntä säästääkseni otin taas alun 40km taksilla ja se näemmä riitti, koska seuraavat päivät menivätkin taas ihan hyvin. Mäntässä on riittää mukavasti kaikkea taiteellista, hylätyt talotkin näyttää hienolta:

My next destination was Mänttä-Vilppula where I had my next hotel room booked. The name origins from two areas joining. The morning was rainy so to save both my nerves and my heart I repeated the taxi beginning again with 40 km. It helped because the next few days went well. Mänttä area has several nice contemporary art museums and even abandoned houses look nice:

Tällekin päivälle tuli kuitenkin ajoa 60 km ja Jämsänkoskella tuli nostettua drone ilmaan, kun näkyi sopiva pyörätiesilta Koskikeskisen yli.

Even with the taxi drive I still got 60 km (37 mi) cycling for this day. On that route I noticed this bicycle bridge over the lake and took drone pics.

Keskustaa kohden ajaessa näkyi komea talo ja oli sillä vaikuttava nimikin: Mäntän klubi.

On my way towards downtown I noticed this impressive building and now found out that it has an impressive name: Mänttä's club.

Menin taas ekaksi hotellille, niin sai tyhjättyä enimmät kamat huoneeseen. Sateen takia puin reissun ainoan kerran sadevaatteet päälle, mutta vettä tuli melkeinpä vähemmän aikaa kuin kesti pukeminen. Serlachius museo Göstan -näyttelyn vetonaulana oli Banksy, joka oli (käsittääkseni) taiteilijan vaatimuksesta ilmainen. Satuin hyvään kohtaan, kun pääsin ilman varausta kävelemään suoraan sisälle.

First I did a check-in to my hotel so that I could get all my stuff to the room. When I continued to art exhibitions, happened the only time I wore my rain clothes, and the rain lasted a shorter time than it took to put them on. The Banksy -exhibition in Serlachius Gösta museum was very popular in Finland. I got in at the right moment as I could walk directly in without waiting.

Göstan vieressä olevalla Taavetin saarella on aina jotain vaihtuvaa taidetta. Nyt siellä oli jooga-asetelma.

The little island next to the art museum has a walking path around it and some contemporary art. This year it was a yoga group.

Keskustan Gustav-museo oli myös museokorttiin sisältyvä ja siellä on aina ollut mukava kiertää. Viimeksi jo nähtiin se vakionäyttely Serlachiuksen historiasta, joten nyt oli nopeampi käynti.

The Gustav museum in downtown Mänttä has also a nice collection of contemporary art. There's a fixed exhibition of the history of Serlachius, but I saw that on our previous visit so I could walk this one in a shorter time.

Hotellin kellariin pyörää yöturvaan viedessä kurkkasin vessaan ja se olikin hauska tapaus. Tuossa onkin mukava odotella omaa vuoroaan, kun voi istua rauhassa. 😄

While taking my bicycle to the hotel's cellar floor I peeked to the bathroom and noticed that it's a special case. You can sit while waiting for your turn. 😄
